Oktoberfest Lands at One Lake
We kicked off the first-ever Oktoberfest at One Lake with lederhosen and dirndls galore! On Saturday, October 1, attendees got into the spirit by dancing, enjoying live music and partaking in fun traditional games and activities. It was an event for the ages!
The Grove was transformed thanks to an array of authentic vendors, which kept the German beer flowing under the tent, and AlpineSound’s Oompah music had people dancing all day long. Ludwig’s German Table was a favorite—after all, who doesn’t like a traditional German pretzel and a commemorative Oktoberfest stein to mark the occasion? Prost!
All-ages Oktoberfest games were a great way to bring everyone together. Kids and adults alike cheered on the competitors in the stein contest, and younger participants had a friendly contest of their own, featuring sparkling soft beverages. It truly felt like being at a traditional German festival and was a spectacular way to celebrate Oktoberfest.
A massive thank-you to everyone who came out to enjoy the festivities to welcome fall.
