Not Your Average 4th of July
Over 1,500 people gathered for a perfect summer celebration at One Lake! The 4th of July was marked with delicious fare from a large variety of local food trucks, tons of activities for adults and kids, as well as live music throughout the afternoon and evening. A day we won’t soon forget!
The 21-acre Lake-Park District played host to a variety of events honoring fun, family and our country’s freedom. Volleyball and cornhole games were leading favorites, and some were thrilled to enjoy activities on the lake, including kayaking and paddleboarding. When thirst struck, attendees flocked to Journey Coffee Co. at the Glass House for a refreshing beverage.
A mix of live bands and a DJ provided an excellent musical backdrop for guests as they enjoyed their meals and played the day away. To cap off the event, the sky above One Lake was transformed during an out-of-this-world laser light show. A truly spectacular way to celebrate the 4th of July.
